David is a four-time DP World Tour winner and 2022 is his 14th consecutive season on the main tour.
After a successful amateur career that included playing Walker Cup, the Manchester-based player turned professional in 2007, winning twice on the Challenge Tour at the Telenet Trophy and AGF-Allianz EurOpen de Lyon before finishing top of the Order of Merit.
He collected his first European Tour win at the 2010 BMW International Open and followed that up with successes at the 2011 Trophee Hassan, 2014 M2M Russian Open, and 2015 Made in Denmark.
David finished second at the 2016 Turkish Airlines Open on the way to ending the year in a career-high of 28th place on The Race to Dubai.
