Biography
Darren enjoyed yet another productive season in 2009, scoring over 1,000 runs in first-class cricket. Once again, he showed his usual destructive nature in the shorter form of the game by averaging nearly 60 in the t20, where he was named most valuable player (MVP) by the PCA. The all-rounder is also a vital cog in the Spitfires one-day bowling attack, causing problems when taking the pace off the ball.
