Brady Watt is one of the world’s most exciting young golfers, having reached world number one status in the amateur ranks last June before turning professional at the Thailand Golf Championship in December 2013.

Just days earlier, Brady outlined his outstanding potential on home soil at the Emirates Australian Open. In a field containing some of the game’s best players, he finished a very creditable 14th and impressed everyone in attendance with his determination, temperament and skill.

Brady is following in some huge golfing footsteps and hopes to give his country somebody else to be proud of.

Born in Perth, he enjoyed a glittering amateur career. Among its highlights was a debut semi-final placing at last year’s US Amateur Championship, while other notable performances include winning the Lake Macquarie Amateur in 2011 and Riversdale Cup and Australian Amateur Stroke Play in 2013.

Brady, who was also a member of the triumphant Australian Ten Nations Cup side last February before being added to the Golf Australia National Squad, has an outgoing personality and is eager to compete in professional tournaments around the world.

He played at the Africa Open in February before earning his first cheque in the US on his first PGA Tour start at the Puerto Rico Open.

Brady showed impressive form in finishing in second spot at the Honduras Open on the PGA Tour LatinoAmerica in May 2015.
