Clement Sordet, one of France's brightest young golfing stars, turned professional in July 2015, recording a first win in just his fourth tournament at the Northern Ireland Open the following month.

His glittering amateur career included playing for France at last year's World Cup, made his debut in the paid ranks on the European Challenge Tour in Slovakia.

"It was always my aim to turn professional once I'd finished college. It's my dream job," Clement said.

"My aim is to excel as a worldwide player and I feel ISM is best placed to help me realise that goal," he added.

ISM managing director, Chubby Chandler, expressed his delight at the latest addition to the ISM stable.

He said: “With his outstanding success at college and top amateur level, I’m convinced that Clement has the potential to enjoy a hugely successful career as a professional.”

Grenoble-born Clement, 22nd in the World Amateur Golf Rankings and a member of last year's European team in the Palmer Cup, became one of America's top Collegiate golfers while at Texas Tech University and won six titles.

Clement did not take long to make his mark after turning professional.

Having finished in a share of 26th at the Fred Olsen Challenge de Espana in his second tournament, Clement picked up a first win at his fourth attempt, at the Northern Ireland Open in August 2015.

The Frenchman started the week with rounds of 67, 66 and 68 to start the final day in a share of third place, two shots off the lead at Galgorm Castle.

He moved ahead at the turn and a bogey-free back nine, including two birdies, was enough to see him to victory with a 66.

Clement said: “I am living my dream. It feels amazing."
