I was ready for the holiday I am currently enjoying in the Seychelles, but rest assured I will be ready to further my ambition of a top five place in the world rankings on my return.

I will be almost on the other side of the globe when I next pick up a club because I am spending a few days in Las Vegas with my coach Butch Harmon before moving on to the Taylormade factory to test their latest clubs.

Three more events on the west coast swing will be followed by a trip to Dubai for the Desert Classic and then it’s back to America for the build up to the US Masters.

I would like to thank all of you who have sent in countless questions and hopefully I will have the chance to reply when I return from holiday.   I seem to have a growing fan club in America so it is nice to be able to repay them with a few more appearances on their Tour this summer.

Whilst I am taking in the rays I have organised a competition on my website for you all to have a go at - there are ten questions and a tie-break question, so get your thinking caps on and have a go as there are great prizes on offer, including a TaylorMade Rossa putter just like the one I use!

Now it’s back to the sunbed before all the hard work starts again.   I hope to make this season an exciting ride for you all.
