Land of the Rising Sun to Sun City. 26.11.03

The air miles have been clocking up quite rapidly this last week, but I made sure I was grounded on Saturday afternoon.   Nothing would have kept me from watching the World Cup Final. I was with my manager Chubby in Singapore and the interest in the game was so huge that we couldn't get into the Irish Bar there and instead when to Dan Ryan's - one of a chain of American bars.

The atmosphere was fantastic and what a great game, simply the best and some time afterwards I received a nice text message from Lawrence Dallaglio, who had an enormous match.   It was one of those occasions when people will always remember where they were when England won rugby's World Cup.  They thoroughly deserved it.

We didn't have time for much else apart from finishing one very enjoyable company day with Barclay's Capital and moving on to Japan for another.  All the guys I played golf with had clicked on to my site and knew everything about me.   One or two of them even suggested that we should incorporate a site written in Japanese.   We're always open to suggestions and if we can, we will.

Now I'm just about to board another flight and this time the destination is Sun City for the Nedbank 2 Million Dollar.   I'll be interested to discover why so few Europeans have been invited even though they've increased the number of players.

Maybe there will be more to say on that this week  First I've got to get there.. and it's a 24-hour journey.
