Flintoff Stands Fast for a Ton
Andrew Flintoff scored 102 not out yesterday, his third test century for England, and continued his journey towards becoming one of cricket's great all-rounders.  It took Freddie 224 balls for his 102 in an innings that showed a great maturity for a player who loves to give it a blast.

The Lancashire all-rounder was left not out for the first time in his 51st test innings as England were dismissed for 283 and made to follow-on 466 runs behind. At close of play Marcus Trescothick was not out for 74 and Michael Vaughan not out for 61, both of whom will be pleased with their performance since they have both suffered a fairly barren time at the crease.
