Giles Gives England Some Hope      
Ashley Giles' Test-best match figures did little to dispel suggestions that it is not only Sri Lanka that feature a one-man bowling attack. The Warwickshire left-arm spinner was the only Englishman to pose a threat as the Sri Lankan tail hung around once more with Jayawardene scoring 86.                                                               

"The wicket is turning, and it will be difficult", said Giles "but we have some very fine players of spin bowling and I am sure we will show that tomorrow.  Murali is always a handful. But we all play spin very very well now". 

Rain once again halted play with England 4-0 and leaves them chasing 319 runs to win.
