Oh Baby! It’s A Girl For ISM Pair

 


ISM colleagues Andrew Flintoff and Lee Westwood were both celebrating at theweekend after becoming fathers within 24 hours of one another.
  

Laurae Westwood was the first to deliver when 7lbs 8oz Poppy Grace enteredthe world in the early hours of Saturday morning. Flintoff’s fiancée Rachael Wools followed a day later when Holly weighed inat 6lbs 20z, four weeks ahead of schedule.
 
The England all-rounder decided to phone close friend Steve Harmison totell him the good news.   “Freddie rang me at 4.53am.  I’m really happy forhim, but I wished he’d waited a few hours longer,” he said. Flintoff had been given permission to miss England’s final match of the NatWest series against India so that he could be at the birth in a London hospital.
 
Westwood, who already has a three-year-old son Sam, is now free to takehis place in the European side to face America in the Ryder Cup next week.
