Biography
Matt Richardson enjoyed a successful career as an amateur and competed at the 2005 Walker Cup.
He turned professional later that year and qualified for the European Tour in 2006.
Following his debut season, he moved to North America and began playing on the Canadian Tour.
In 2009, he qualified for the second-tier Nationwide Tour and achieved his best finish, claiming third place at the Mexico Open.
Richardson qualified for his first professional major in 2010, the US Open, and secured a return to the Nationwide Tour.
His favourite course to play is Valderrama in Spain and he would like to play Augusta National. Away from the course, he supports Arsenal, while his favourite city to visit is Sydney, Australia.
